WordCamp Taiwan 2021 全體志工致上最誠摯的感謝

2019 年 12 月 28 日，我們順利將 WordCamp Taipei 的規模，達到一個全新的里程碑：更大、更好、更多交流火花的國際級綜合研討會。背後正是因為有各位贊助者們的協助，我們才能將活動順利的向前推進。

今年 12 月 11 日、 12 日 將舉辦 WordCamp Taiwan 2021 ，我們選擇在線上相聚，並且將 WordCamp 的地域，從原先的台北 (Taipei) 提升到台灣 (Taiwan)。因為我們衷心期望距離不是問題，無論我們人在何地，依舊可以相聚；疫情更不是問題，所以我們無所畏「距」！

我們為此，敬邀所有認同且支持開源精神與 WordPress 社群價值的各位，一同襄助這場盛典，一起向來自世界各地、各領域的與會者說：「WordCamp 相聚，無所畏『距』」。

為什麼要贊助 WordCamp Taiwan 2021？

今年議程將於線上舉行，更加縮短了彼此的距離，所以除了與會者橫跨工程師、設計師、行銷人員與內容生產者之外，線上議程也打破了原先的地域性，將會有來自世界各地的與會者參與。在如此與 WordPress 緊密關聯的生態鏈底下，我們可以相當有自信的說，WordCamp Taiwan 是觸及產業範圍最廣的開源社群。

WordCamp Taiwan 2021 以《宅》為主題，我們期望讓每位與會者在自己家中就可以參與活動。因此我們規劃了線上攤位，提供一個與會者與贊助商對話的平台，藉此讓與會者從中對贊助者的品牌與服務有更深刻的認識。除此之外，我們規劃各式各樣贊助商活動和曝光，希望能夠透過這些資訊的交流和傳遞，創造出社群、與會者與贊助者之間，更加緊密的共生關係。

贊助 WordCamp Taiwan 2021 前

為了讓認同社群經營價值的贊助者，也可以為這份價值貢獻心力。我們擬定了三種方案提供贊助者參考與評估，進而選出三贏的贊助方案。

贊助前注意事項

我們明白每位贊助者都希望將贊助經費花在刀口上，因此贊助者們如果有以下的考量，我們衷心希望能夠將這份贊助預算用於其他需要的社群：

1. 贊助者基於商業模式無法支持 GPL 所揭示的開源精神
2. 贊助者基於商業模式無法公開支持 WordPress 及其相關服務。

如何贊助 WordCamp Taiwan 2021？

贊助款項最後都將匯入所屬 WordCamp Central 的 PBC 基金會，除了可以解決我們主辦方金流壓力並且增加後續舉辦活動的彈性之外，我們也透過這樣的贊助方式，讓基金會可以持續運作，協助全球 （包括我們） 舉辦 WordCamp 的團隊，都能夠一同共享這份社群資源。

WordCamp Taiwan 2021 也接受實物贊助 (In-Kind)，若贊助項目為活動所必需資源（例如：印刷..等）可視贊助資源金額對應上述表格方案等級；若為非必需資源須再與活動主辦方討論贊助項目，贊助級別為「In-Kind」。

匯入國內開放文化基金會（台灣法人建議）

將贊助款項匯入開放文化基金會的專案中，基金會會支應本次會議中所有支出，並且會開立統一發票供企業作為抵稅單據。匯款時以台幣計價。

匯入海外 WordCamp PBC 基金會（個人、外籍法人建議）

直接將贊助款項匯入 WordCamp PBC 基金會，基金會會支應本次會議中所有支出。無法開立台灣統一發票，可開立 WordCamp PBC 基金會之繳費憑單 (invoice)。匯款時以美金計價。

贊助 WordCamp Taiwan 2021 後

今年因疫情的關係， WordCamp Taiwan 2021 將於線上與大家相會。儘管如此，我們仍然會舉辦精彩盛大的線上晚宴。屆時將邀請贊助者一同參與會前與會後的晚宴，期待透過線上聚會，即使在家中依舊可以縮短彼此的距離，迸發出不一樣的火花。

法人贊助者，在活動當天將擁有線上攤位。儘管在電腦前，也可以和與會者進行互動並參與對談。同時，我們也會設計小遊戲，鼓勵與會者前往贊助商攤位，加強各領域的與會者對於贊助商的品牌與服務有更深入的了解。

On December 28, 2019, WordCamp Taipei expanded to the next level: a more extensive, better international conference to reach friends worldwide. But, of course, we could not make this big step forward without our generous sponsors’ great support.

On December 11 – 12 this year, we will bring you WordCamp Taiwan 2021 online; the conference will be promoted from Taipei to Taiwan because we believe distance is not a problem. We can get together no matter where we are.

To make this come true, we sincerely invite you to support the spirit of open source and recognize the value of the WordPress community. So let’s gather again and speak out to the whole world: “Work From Home cannot stop us. Let’s WordPress From Home.”

Why Sponsoring WordCamp Taiwan 2021?

The event will be fully online this year, which will bring all attendees, whether they are developers, designers, marketers, and publishers, more connected regardless of the distances and locations. With such strong connections in the WordPress community, we are confident that WordCamp Taiwan is the largest open source community that reaches different industries.

The core topic of WordCamp Taiwan 2021 is “WordPress from Home.” We hope that all attendees can participate in the event from their homes. Thus, we plan for virtual booths, which create opportunities for sponsors and attendees to communicate. Besides, we also arrange various impressions and events for our sponsor partners, hoping that we can build a stronger relationship among the community, the attendees, and the sponsors via exchanging information and ideas.

Before you sponsor WordCamp Taiwan 2021

We would like to introduce you to three different sponsorship packages. We hope every sponsor can find the best plan and create a win-win-win partnership between attendees, sponsors, and organizers.

For companies and organizations, we offer tiered sponsorship levels between $20,000 – $60,000 TWD ($670 – $2,050 USD). Sponsors will get various exposure depending on the sponsorship level. We can also provide Taiwan receipt if necessary.

Important Notice

We can understand that sponsors wish to have many benefits from their sponsorship, we may not take your sponsorship if you have the following concerns:

• respect the WordPress trademark
• embrace the WordPress license; If distributing WordPress-derivative works (themes, plugins, WP distros), any person or business officially associated with WordCamp should give their users the same freedoms that WordPress provides: 100% GPL or compatible, the same guidelines we follow on WordPress.org
•  don’t promote companies or people that violate the trademark or distribute WordPress derivative works which aren’t 100% GPL compatible

How to Sponsor WordCamp Taiwan 2021?

All sponsorship funds will be paid to the WordPress Community Support, PBC. WPCS helps organizers to host a WordCamp with ease. Surplus funds from WordCamp will be retained by WordPress Community Support to support other official WordPress community events and programs, including local meetups and user group events.

In-kind sponsorships are welcome. In-kind sponsors that help with essential resources such as venue, beverage, food, printings, etc., could be upgraded as other sponsorship levels according to their cash value. If you wish to donate non-essential resources, please reach out to us, and we can work out details on the in-kind sponsorship.

Donation in TWD to Open Culture Foundation (Recommend for Taiwan-based companies)

We collaborate with Open Culture Foundation (OCF), which is the financial entity supporting and managing all expenses involved with this event. This allows local sponsors to donate in TWD and receive a Taiwan receipt.

Donation in USD to the WordPress Community Support, PBC ( Recommend for individual or overseas companies) 

Sponsorship transactions would be paid in USD to WordPress Community Support, PBC, which is the financial entity supporting and managing all expenses involved with this event. A sponsor invoice will be issued directly from WPCS. We do not issue a Taiwan receipt for this payment method.

After Sponsoring WordCamp Taiwan 2021

Due to the COVID-19 situation, WordCamp Taiwan 2021 will be online. However, we will still prepare for the Before and After Parties online. Therefore, we sincerely invite all sponsors, speakers, and attendees to join our online fest and share their opinions. After all, we want to keep connected with people no matter how far we are.

All sponsors will have a virtual booth on the event days. Thus, sponsors can have chances to communicate and interact with attendees remotely. Meanwhile, we’ll also prepare some quests for attendees to encourage them to visit our sponsors’ booths. We hope this may bring further information about our sponsors to attendees from different fields.

* Social media promotion is multi-language and multichannel. One of the three social media posts for Mansion on the Coast Sponsors will attach the link to the sponsor’s own website; the other two posts should link back to the WordCamp website.

** 「贊助老實說」是什麼呢？
WordCamp 活動當天會在議程之間穿插 5-10 分鐘的贊助商訪談 (實際時間依據議程數量安排)。期間，會安排主持人與贊助商聚焦在 WordPress 上的對談，讓贊助商可以在直播中直接曝光，預估會有至少 500 人可以直接看見各位贊助商。
