講題時間長度

標準演講 (Long Talk)：總長 30 分鐘，包含25分的主要內容與5分鐘的問答。
- 主要內容(25分鐘)：介紹演講者自己與分享一些背景信息，深入探討 WordPress 的特定方面，提供實際的步驟和範例，可以展示一些視覺資料，如操作截圖或者示範影片，使觀眾更好地理解演講主題。
- 問答(5分鐘)：給予觀眾提問的機會，這不僅能增加觀眾的參與度，也使演講者有機會就他們的主題深入討論。問答時間可能包括觀眾的疑問、討論點或對演講內容的反饋。
閃電秀 ( Lightning Talk )：於現場報名，預計以五分鐘為基準，來簡短介紹某個WordPress相關的主題或想法。一旦報名成功，參與者將在被分配的時間內發表他們的演講。

Duration:

Standard Talk (Long Talk):

Total duration of 30 minutes, including 25 minutes of main content and 5 minutes of Q&A.

Main Content (25 minutes): Introduce yourself as the speaker and share some background information. Delve into specific aspects of WordPress, provide practical steps and examples, and include visual materials such as screenshots or demo videos to help the audience better understand the topic.
Q&A (5 minutes): Allow the audience to ask questions, increasing their engagement and giving the speaker an opportunity for further discussion on their topic. The Q&A session may involve audience queries, discussion points, or feedback on the talk’s content.

Lightning Talk:

On-site registration, expected to be based on five minutes, to briefly introduce a WordPress-related topic or idea. Once successfully registered, participants will deliver their talk within the allocated time.

Who can participate

WordCamp Taiwan 2023 is Taiwan’s grand annual international event for WordPress. We invite everyone passionate about WordPress and willing to share their “WordPress experience” to submit their talk proposals. Whether or not you have prior speaking experience, we warmly welcome your participation! Even if you haven’t spoken before, don’t worry. We will assist you in refining and improving your speaking skills through regular WordPress meetups. Let’s share, learn, and create more possibilities with WordPress at WordCamp Taiwan 2023!

Registration process and deadline:

The speaker recruitment for WordCamp Taiwan will continue until July 31, 2023, so interested individuals are encouraged to sign up early. Below is our selection process and timeline:

Speaker open call (June 26, 2023)
Speaker open call deadline (August 14, 2023)
Internal speaker selection process (August 18, 2023)
Notification of selected speakers (August 21, 2023)
Announcement of speaker lineup (August 28, 2023)
